For the second weekend in a row, I made it home.

A Few Things

A few things I have neglected to post.  I have been EXTRA busy lately.

  1. Jay-Z is the best rapper alive.  Period.  Saw him last Friday and his show was absolutely amazing.  And, yes, I have seen Kanye and Lil’ Wayne live too, and they pale in comparison.  Hova man is light years beyond those two.
  2. Wiz Khalifa…is the shit.  Saw him live this weekend, too.  It was a big weekend.  Managed to capture this picture.
  3. Jack’s Mannequin = awesome.  Saw them this past Sunday with a friend, and they gave a great, powerful, intimate performance to a crowd of only about 2,000.
  4. Be careful what you post online!  I recently tweeted about something, I, admittedly, shouldn’t have.  BUT, it wasn’t that bad at all—in fact I was boasting about an accomplishment of mine.  Apparently, people stalk the fuck out of other people’s twitter feeds, a phone call or two was made, and I was chewed out by a student leader.  Then the person who originally read my tweet bated me into giving them more info with a reply.  Needless to say, I protected my tweets and deleted every follower I don’t actually know.
  5. SNOW!  It’s snowing—On October 15th. Wow!
  6. The Power of sleep.  I’ve been so busy lately, up until 4am one night studying even.  My sleep schedule has been erratic, but one thing I can say, is that when sleep does come, it is the best thing in the world.
  7. New John Mayer Album, “Battle Studies.”  Tremendous album cover, one of the best I have seen in a while.  Reminds me of James Dean.  Thanks to my good friend Shaune for tweeting this.
  8. Peace will come.  Going through a hard time? Look ahead, peace will find you in time.
  9. LET’S GO PHILS!  Come on boys, let’s make it two in a row!

Considering the ever-expanding horizons of hip-hop and production thereof, we should now place quotation marks around the name of the genre; “Hip-Hop”
